Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CDL with school bus passenger and air brake endorsements.
• Must be able to operate both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Must present a current DMV transcript issued within the past 30 days.
• Must possess a current School Bus Driver's Physician's Certificate.
• Must consent to a background check.

Responsibilities

• Drives a school bus to pick up and drop off students.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections per state guidelines.
• Maintains safety equipment and reports unsafe conditions.
• Follows preventive maintenance schedules and routes.
• Completes required forms and reports accurately and on time.
• Ensures passenger safety and discipline on the bus.
