Job summary

LADACIN Lehmann Schools in Ocean County, NJ, seeks a Substitute Registered Nurse to support students with developmental and physical disabilities. You’ll work with a transdisciplinary team to provide hands-on nursing care, including tube feeding, meds, and health monitoring.

Licensed RN in New Jersey with BLS is required; PALS is preferred. On-site child care at reduced staff rates is offered for substitutes. 12-month program; EOE.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse by the State of New Jersey.
• Basic Life Support Certification required.
• Experience with students with disabilities in a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on nursing skills including gastronomy tube feedings and medication administration.
• Monitor daily health and seizures.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and social worker to meet individual student needs.

The Position

LADACIN Network’s Lehmann Schools is currently seeking a registered nurse to work with students with developmental and multiple physical disabilities. The school nurses work closely with our transdisciplinary team (teachers, therapists and school social worker) to meet the individual needs and goals of each student. Responsibilities include performing hands on nursing skills with gastronomy tube feedings, medication administration, seizure monitoring and daily health monitoring.

Licensed Registered Nurse by the State of New Jersey and Basic Life Support Certification required. Experience with students with disabilities in a school setting preferred.

Substitute School Nurse Certification Required And PALS Certification Preferred
