Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a qualified RN to serve as a Substitute School Nurse in Camden County. You will cover substitute and long-term school nursing assignments, including one-on-one care and bus runs, supporting students of all ages.

We offer onboarding, training, weekly pay, flexible schedules, preventive care for employees, scholarships, and on-the-job training. This role supports BAYADA’s mission with a strong clinical team and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum one year clinical RN experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Pediatrics experience is a plus, but not required (industry-leading training available through BAYADA).

Responsibilities

• Assess clients/students.
• Provide training and education.
• Administer prescribed medication, treatment and therapy.
• Communicate with the multi-disciplinary team.
• Manage supplies.
• Handle emergency management.

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN) - Substitute School Nurse:

• Client/student assessments
• Training and education
• Administration of prescribed medication, treatment and therapy
• Communication with other members of the client's multi-disciplinary team
• Supply management
• Emergency management

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Current New Jersey RN license in good standing
• Current CPR certification
• Minimum one year clinical experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Pediatrics experience is a plus, but not required (industry-leading training available through BAYADA)

Pay Substitute School nursing: $35/hr

RN Pay Range home care: $32/hr-$39/hr
