Primary Purpose:

Manages student learning in accordance with the goals and directives of the school and the District.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education/Certification: High School Diploma/GED
• Special Knowledge/Skills: Must have knowledge of assigned curriculum; knowledge of instructional methods; lesson planning skills; lesson presentation skills; conflict resolution skills; classroom management skills; group interaction skills; technology skills preferred.
• Work Conditions: Must be able to monitor and observe student behavior; communicate effectively with students, staff, and community; attend after school and night time activities occasionally; maintain emotional control in all situations; perform medium work effort exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally; bend, stoop, and reach fully above head; possess acute and/or corrected visual and hearing capabilities; possess good mental health; be average or better in energy, health and vitality; possess a high level of mental capability.
