Job summary

Spring Branch Independent School District is seeking a Substitute Administrator to lead instructional and operational initiatives across campuses. The role reports to the Community Superintendent and Associate Superintendent of Administration and Talent and requires strong instructional leadership, data analysis, and collaborative management capabilities.

The incumbent will supervise operations, assist in scheduling and resource allocation, and ensure compliance with district policies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from a recognized, accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas Standard Principal or Mid-Management certification.
• Current certification in ILD, ILT or AEL.
• T-TESS Certification required at hire or within 60 days of employment.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a SBISD campus administrator.
• Exemplifies instructional leadership and collaborative leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Encourage and support development of instructional programs and use of achievement data.
• Promote a positive, caring climate for learning.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and community.
• Assist in the development of campus improvement plans with the leadership team.
• Evaluate instructional and support personnel and conduct evaluations.
• Interview, select, and orient new staff.
• Maintain certification and training for the role.
• Oversee operations and resource allocation.
