Job Responsibilities

• Work effectively with other teacher(s) in the assigned classroom and center
• Support the social and emotional development of children and use "positive guidance" approaches to dealing with challenging behaviors
• Encourage the involvement of the families of the children in a Head Start program and support the development of relationships between children and their families
• Follow all Acelero Learning policies and procedures related to health, safety, nutrition, and other aspects of center operations

Job Requirements

Additional Information

• This position is all year round, called in as needed during center hours, and earns $15.13 hourly.
• Freehold Center Locations: Broad Street: 59 Broad Street, Freehold, NJ 07728
• Main Street: 81 West Main Street, Freehold, NJ 07728
• Center Hours: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm

Pre Hire Requirements

• Two Valid IDs, Two Reference Letters, Physical exams and TB Tests, Fingerprint Screening (CHRI), and Background Checks (CARI) are required for this position.
• Must have a Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
• All new hires must attend the four days (Tuesday - Friday: 9 am to 3 pm) of mandatory New Employee Orientation Training at South Amboy Center - 310 Augusta Street, NJ 08879 upon completion of pre-hire documents.
