Position Summary:

• Assist classroom teacher as directed in daily routines, small group and individual activities.
• Work as part of a team (with children, families, professional and coworkers) to create the best learning environment possible for each child
• Be energetic, creative and enthusiastic about working with our children!

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Child Abuse, PA Criminal & FBI clearance (The Arc will pay for clearances)
• Physician's certificate of good health.
• Ability to lift and position children up to a weight of 50 pounds.
• Two years of experience working with young children; experience with working with children with special needs preferred

Job Type: Part‑time

Pay: $13.00 to $15.00 per hour, depending on experience
