Job summary

ATG Entertainment seeks an Enthusiastic Substitute Porter to join our Theatre Operations team. You’ll help keep our five Broadway theatres in top condition, from lobbies to backstage areas, and help ensure guest and performer experiences are superb.

You will work with a high-energy team in a collaborative environment, handling cleaning, light maintenance, and customer-facing tasks during performances, mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

COMPANY AND POSITION OVERVIEW

Major Broadway theatre owner-operator is seeking an Enthusiastic Substitute Porter to join our Theatre Operations team. Direct experience with theatrical performance is not required.

This role is a key member of our team in keeping our historic buildings in top physical condition. Job duties include maintaining cleanliness in lobbies, restrooms, backstage, dressing rooms, sidewalk in front of theatre, as well as vacuuming and mopping, removal of trash, shine brass and whatever maintenance tasks are necessary for the specific theatre. This position also interacts directly with the public during performances, so we are looking for team members who are friendly, helpful, and take initiative to assure that the theatre is looking as beautiful as possible for our guests.

JOB HOURS

Candidates must be open and available to work a variety of morning, afternoon, and evening shifts. Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
