Aberdeen School District is seeking substitutes to support classrooms and staff on an on-call, as-needed basis. Duties include assisting teachers, supervising in common areas, and promoting positive public relations for the district.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with an AA degree or 72 college credits preferred, and the ability to pass a background check. Bilingual/Spanish speaking is preferred.

There is no guarantee of placement on any given day and no ongoing expectation of placement.

Under the direction and supervision of the building principal or the classroom teacher, this position may provide assistance to students and/or staff. A substitute paraeducator may also perform a variety of office tasks in support of teachers and other district staff. The position is expected to promote positive public relations for the district.
