Oak Harbor School District is hiring a Substitute/ Substitute Paraeducator to assist in Kindergarten–Grade 12 classrooms across various settings. This position has no guaranteed hours and is based on employee absenteeism.
Qualified candidates must have a high school graduation or equivalent and meet the State of Washington's Highly Qualified requirement. Responsibilities include tutoring, monitoring student behavior, and performing clerical tasks.

Substitute paraeducators work in Kindergarten–Grade 12 classrooms in a variety of settings, including Special Education, Lunchroom Supervisor, and Library Media Technician/In School Suspension, on an on‑call basis. Work is based on employee absenteeism and there are no guaranteed hours or benefits. The paraeducator tutors students, monitors and models behavior, and performs clerical duties such as typing and copying materials. Interviews are held on an ongoing basis throughout the school year.
