Job summary

The Crescent School District is seeking caring, dependable substitute paraeducators to support students in both general and special education settings. The role involves assisting with activities, providing one-on-one or small-group help, and helping maintain a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities include supervising during meals and transitions, supporting behavior, and assisting with personal care when trained. A background check and state paraeducator requirements will be completed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to meet Washington paraeducator requirements and pass background checks.
• Training may be provided; prior experience with children or students with disabilities is helpful.

Substitute Paraeducators support students and teachers in both general and special education settings. Assignments may include:

• Assisting students with classroom activities and assignments
• Providing one-on-one or small-group support as directed by the teacher

• Assisting students with personal care needs when trained and appropriate

Requirements:
