Hermosa Beach City School District is seeking a substitute paraeducator to support students in a classroom setting. The Hermosa Beach City School District is nestled in a beach city just 7 miles south of the LAX airport. We are a Kinder thru 8th grade school district with a friendly staff, an involved parent community, and high expectations. We are a small team of hard working employees in our District Office.

We desire a candidate who has special education education experience or a desire to assist students with special needs. The typical hours are from approx. 8:00 a.m. - 3:00p.m. Exact schedule & hours will vary depending upon the student's grade level. This is a substitute, on-call, as-needed basis position. The substitute will cover for permanent instructional assistants who are on vacation or call out sick.
