Ability Beyond Barriers is seeking a Substitute/On-Call Direct Support Professional for 3rd shift in the Myrtle Beach area. The role supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily life, teaching independence and life skills.

You will assist with daily activities, document care, and promote a respectful, inclusive environment while collaborating with families and the care team. This on-call position has no set schedule and requires reliable, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1 year of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass background and reference checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals in home and community settings.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication administration.
• Support individuals in achieving personal goals and participating in community activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports.
