Job Summary:

• Supervise, monitor, dispense and document medication prescribed for students and as needed or over-the-counter medication
• Assessment of illness necessitating absence from school
• Assist students with hygiene needs
• First aid for injury
• Coordinate individual student health care with appropriate staff
• Communication with parents regarding health needs
• Maintain confidential student health information
• Assist students with diabetes in monitoring and calculating insulin
