Job summary

Westport Community Schools is seeking a Substitute Licensed Practical Nurse for the 2026/2027 school year in Westport, MA. This part-time position involves providing in-school nursing care and carrying out health-related tasks for students.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with current license to practice.

Responsibilities

Substitute LPN

• Nurse to attend to medical needs in school or classroom(s) including monitoring of seizures, Gtube feedings, and administration of medication via Gtube and/or other routes.
• Assist with health needs of including but not limited to nutrition, hydration, mobility, elimination, comfort, rest and hygiene, and educational needs.
• Follow medical plan of care for student with health needs.
• If assigned to classroom, may also perform duties of paraprofessional at teacher's instruction.
• Other duties as requested.
