• High school graduate or equivalent
• Working knowledge of practices, tools, and materials used in the cleaning, minor maintenance, and repair of buildings and equipment
• Self-starter, able to work alone
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience
• Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position
• Fingerprint clearance through New York State Office of School Personnel Review and Accountability
• Evidence of an open, collaborative style that fosters a sense of teamwork and common purpose
• Proven people skills and effective communication skills, with a positive attitude and sense of humor
• Willingness to become an active, engaged, and visible member of the Pal-Mac community
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including electronic communication
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, administrators, students, and parents
