Job summary

Job Description

Position Overview: Provides support to Head Cook & Second Cook, assisting with all food preparation, serving, and cleaning.

Essential Job Functions:

• Washing of all dishes, implements, and surfaces in kitchen & serving areas.
• Assist with food preparation and serving as necessary.
• Serve daily meals to students in accordance with USDA standards.
• Review and follow all standard operating procedures based on HACCP guidelines.
• Other duties as directed.

Other Job Functions:

• Carry out all tasks assigned by Head Cook.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of:

• Food preparation in large quantities.
• HACCP sanitary guidelines.

Ability to:

• Maintain good healthy relationship with students
• Work harmoniously and tactfully with fellow employees.
• Maintain standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Present neat and clean appearance.

Experience:

• Prior experience in kitchen operations preferred

License:

• Food Handlers Card
