Job summary

Braintree Public Schools Districtwide is seeking Substitute Food Service staff in Braintree, MA. The role supports student meals on school days, typically 8:30am–1:00pm or 1:30pm, with some days starting earlier. Availability Monday through Friday is preferred, with opportunities to work as early as 7:30am.

Pay is $19.25 per hour; candidates should be flexible to fill in for planned absences and for last-minute needs across district schools.

Job Description

• Looking for individuals with passion for food and health of the students we serve.
• It is preferred that substitutes are available to work school days Monday- Friday between the hours of 9:00am-1:30 pm, with occasional opportunities to work beginning as early as 7:30am
• Substitutes may be called to work at any of the schools served by Braintree School Food Service
• Individual must be able to fill in for pre-planned absences and for short-notice/day-of absences. Calls are made for pre-planned days in advance of the day needed, calls are made at approximately 7:30am for substitutes that are needed that day.
• Most shifts begin around 8:30 am, and end around 1:00pm or 1:30pm.
• Pay will be $19.25 per hour.
