Job summary

Legacy Traditional Schools is hiring a Substitute staff member to support K-8 operations, classroom activities, and student supervision. You will assist teachers, handle copy/teaching prep, and help maintain a positive learning environment.

Expect collaboration with campus staff and timely communication with families and administration. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, be able to manage multiple tasks, and maintain a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to interact positively with students and staff.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with campus staff to support K-8 operational functions such as driveline, lunch, and supervision.
• Assist in copying materials and preparing resources for teachers.
• Provide coverage for office staff by answering phones and checking in students.
• Support teachers in the classroom with grading, display boards, and instructional tasks.
• Interact with students in a positive, professional manner and reinforce learning.
• Supervise students during drills, assemblies, lunch, and field trips.
• Assist with student drop-off/pick-up as needed, including during inclement weather.
