Right At School is seeking a Part Time Educator for the 2026/2027 school year in the Auburn district. The role involves leading daily activities, delivering structured curriculum, and ensuring a safe, engaging environment for children.

You will collaborate with teams, support schools, and provide excellent customer service to families. The position is on-call with morning and afternoon shifts and requires meeting state-specific requirements.

Competenze

• At least 6 months of experience working with children under 13 in a group setting.
• Two years of higher education (48 units) or AA degree or pass a district assessment.
• Must be 18+ with HS diploma or equivalent.
• Spanish language ability is preferred.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and meet state requirements (background check, health).

Part Time Educator 2026/2027 School Year

Pay Range Educator: $20-23 /per hour (based on education and experience)

Schedule: (ON CALL) 6:15am-8:30 and/or Monday-Friday 12:45-6pm.

Location: Candidates should be open to any of the schools we partner with in the Auburn District. Please note we cannot guarantee preferred school assignments as our needs are based on the needs of the programs we serve.

You’ll Drive The Mission By

• Daily Program Meetings: Each day, review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring they align with the program’s objectives. Organize and lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum; that are both educational and enjoyable for all ages.
• Leading by Example: Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children are enjoying themselves while also meeting program goals. You will achieve this by modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management.
• Prioritize Safety and Joy: Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols. These may include documenting attendance, incidents, and other observations.
• Communication: Effective communication with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Expertise And Qualifications

Ideal Candidates will have the following:

Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills Works well in a team environment At least 6 months of experience working with children under 13 years of age in a group setting (preferred) Complete two years of higher education study (48 units) or obtain an AA degree or higher or pass a formal District academic assessment test. Must be 18 years or older with a Highschool diploma or equivalent College credits in early childhood education, child development, elementary education or a related field (preferred) Bilingual in Spanish (preferred) Ability to lift 25lbs Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living Ability to meet state-specific requirements: LIVE Scan fingerprint, FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter training, Health Certificate with Negative TB Test (from a physician)
