Job summary

Five Town CSD & MSAD #28 is seeking Substitute Ed Techs for Special Education Self Contained Programs at Camden Rockport Elementary School in Camden, ME. This immediate opening requires a high school diploma or higher.

You will support students in self-contained and general education settings, assist with daily living activities, and help manage behavior under individualized plans. Background checks and CHRC approval are required; earned leave and retirement options are available.

Qualifications

• Ability to support students in self-contained and general education settings.
• Proactive and compassionate classroom support.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to support students in self-contained programming.
• Support students in general and/or special education settings, including the regular classroom and therapy classrooms.
• Assist students on the playground, at recess, during lunch, and on the bus.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as tying shoes and basic self-care.
• Support students with emotional regulation using behavior support plans and safety protocols.
