Job summary

Camden Rockport Elementary School in Rockport, ME seeks Substitute Ed Techs for a self-contained SPED program. Immediate opening; pay reflects per-day rates with options for degree-based increases.

Responsibilities include supporting students in various educational settings and during nonacademic times, plus assisting with daily living activities and behavior support plans. Background checks and CHRC approval are required.

Qualifications

• Background check and fingerprinting are required.
• Maine Department of Education CHRC approval.
• Willingness to work with students of varied age and abilities.
• Ability to support students during nonacademic times.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to support students in self-contained programming.
• Support assigned students in general and/or special education settings.
• Assist students on playground, at recess, during lunch, and bus times.
• Help with activities of daily living for students, like tying shoes.
• Implement behavior support plans to help students regulate and return to learning.
