Job Summary

In the absence of the regular Support employee, the Substitute Support will report to the assigned school or Support Hub Department to fill the tasks of the regular employee. The Substitute Support will perform all the requires duties of the absent teacher, including clerical or administrative tasks, communications, etc.

What you will do
  • Reports the school or department office at beginning of day to receive assignment. Follow sign out procedures by the principal.
  • Prioritize, receive, and screen visitors and telephone calls.
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Prepare and coordinate correspondence, forms, reports, presentation materials and other written communications as required.
  • Drafts, proofreads, and edits letters, memos, and other documents.
  • Coordinate and provide support for various projects as required.
  • Manages concerns and complaints in a professional, respectful, and effective manner.
Education Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED Required
Experience Qualifications
  • Prior work experience Preferred
Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to manage the greeting/front desk operations including customer service, telephone etiquette, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including email etiquette and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work and manage time in a fast-paced environment, including Organizational skills and adaptability.
  • Knowledge of common administrative procedures required for an array of different roles.
