The YMCA of the North Shore is seeking a Substitute Teacher to support licensed childcare programs across multiple locations with a flexible schedule and a free YMCA membership.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of experience in licensed childcare, strong communication, and the ability to adapt to different classrooms and age groups. No certification is required to apply.

At the Y, our licensed childcare programs provide safe, nurturing environments where children build confidence, friendships, and lifelong skills. As a Substitute Teacher, you'll support our Early Learning Centers in Beverly, Gloucester, Salem, Marblehead, and Ipswich, stepping in where needed to ensure continuity of care and a positive experience for every child.

To qualify for the substitute teacher rate, candidates must be willing to travel to all listed locations.
