Responsibilities

• Serve as the classroom teacher in their absence, maintaining routines and ensuring a positive learning environment.
• Support daily caregiving routines.
• Assist in food service including meal set-up and clean-up.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Assist children with bathroom procedures.
• Supervise children at all times according to federal, state, and local mandates.
• Demonstrate the physical ability and stamina required to carry out job duties (including lifting up to 30 lbs).

Schedule & Shifts:

This is an on-call position. Spark Academy operates year-round, Monday through Friday, between 7:00am and 6:00pm, and substitute shifts may vary within those hours.

Compensation:

Hourly rate starting at $13.42, based on education and experience.
