Job summary

CROOK COUNTY SD Transportation in Prineville, Oregon seeks an ODL Driver (Type 10/20) to safely transport students on a designated route. Substitute position with hours determined by route; immediate start and training provided for required certifications.

Must possess a valid Oregon Driver’s License, clean driving record, and obtain the Type 10/20 certificate within two weeks of hire. Wages are $19.60 per hour with pre-employment screening required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Oregon Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Possession of or ability to obtain Type 10/20 certificate from the Oregon Department of Education within two weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate type 10/20 vehicles to transport students along a designated route.
• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections and report mechanical issues.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety; manage student discipline as required.
• Complete forms and reports in a timely manner; attend department meetings as scheduled.
• Keep licenses, certifications, and training hours current; comply with drug-free workplace policy.
