Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Oregon Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Type 10/20 certificate from the Oregon Department of Education within two weeks of hire.
• ODE Fingerprint/Background clearance.
• Ability to operate a Type 10 vehicle in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate type 10/20 vehicles in all weather conditions to transport students.
• Conduct daily pre and post trip inspections as prescribed by ODOE.
• Report mechanical difficulties according to department procedure.
• Complete assigned forms and reports in a timely manner.
• Maintain vehicle in a safe, clean condition inside and out.
• Maintain discipline and interact professionally with students and staff.
