Job summary

Jasper County Elderly Nutrition is seeking reliable individuals to assist with meal delivery to elderly and home-bound clients in the Newton area. The role runs Monday through Friday from 10:15 AM to 12:15 PM, on a per-need basis, including coverage for vacations or leaves as needed.

Mileage reimbursement is provided from the Newton central site. Starting pay is $12.97 per hour with scheduled increases up to $16.23, requiring a valid Iowa driver license, good driving record, proof of insurance,

Job description

Looking for reliable and responsible individuals to assist with meal delivery to elderly and home-bound clients within Jasper County. Jasper County Elderly Nutrition is looking for a few dependable individuals to assist with the delivery of meals to the elderly and home bound clients in the Newton area. Starting rate of pay is $12.97 per hour with scheduled increases up to $16.23 and established mileage reimbursement from the central site location in Newton. Scheduled days will be Monday through Friday (no holidays or weekend delivery), approximately hours will be 10:15 AM to 12:15 PM. This position is a per need basis, maybe a few times a month or continuous for a week or more to help cover vacations or a leave of absence This position does not include County paid benefits.

Requirements: A valid Iowa driver license, good driving record, proof of insurance and reliable transportation. Applicants must be pleasant, professional, compassionate, organized and flexible with work schedule and/or assigned duties.

Drug testing and background checks are required for employment.
