SUBSTITUTE DEAF EDUCATION/SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETER
Reports to: Supervising Teacher(s); Building Administrator
Receives guidance from: Deaf Education Coordinator and/or Director of Student Services
To assist students who are deaf/hearing impaired to derive the best possible educational experience from school through appropriate activities.
Substitutes are not considered employees of the Norfolk Public Schools so their service to our district is on an as-needed basis.
Performance will be evaluated on an as-needed basis by building administrators with input from staff.
