Job summary

Ensemble Performing Arts is seeking a part-time dance instructor to substitute classes at Pointe of Grace in Katy, TX. The role focuses on in-person instruction across Ballet, Tap, Acro, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Contemporary and Jazz for children and teens.

Evening availability is preferred to cover after-school and evening sessions. We value teachers who can follow lesson plans, engage young dancers, and bring energy, reliability, and a love of dance to our classrooms.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in multiple dance styles.
• Experience teaching children/youth in a classroom setting.
• Ability to substitute classes using provided lesson plans.
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Fill in for regular instructors as needed, following lesson plans.
• Instruct group classes in Ballet, Tap, Acro, Hip Hop, Jazz, and more.
• Demonstrate and cultivate a love of dance while teaching technique.
• Showcase a strong background in dance through education and performance experience.
• Provide reliable transportation and pass a routine background check.
• Exhibit dependability, professionalism, enthusiasm, punctuality, and friendliness.

Are you a passionate dance instructor who loves working with children? Ensemble Schools is looking for experienced dance instructors to substitute dance classes at Pointe of Grace. Our growing studio in Katy, TX, focuses on providing quality instruction in a safe environment. We're seeking instructors who can deliver engaging, in-person lessons and contribute to the vibrant dance community. Our positive classrooms are staffed by amazing teachers who go beyond teaching dance technique to developing important life skills in students because Pointe of Grace is about More Than Just Great Dancing!
We are looking for teachers that can lead classes in the following styles for all ages - Ballet, Tap, Acro, Hip Hop, Musical Theater, Contemporary, and Jazz.

Our ideal candidate has open evening availability and is able to jump in as needed.

• Showcase a strong background in dance through educational, teaching, and/or performing experience.
• Demonstrate a genuine love for teaching and experience working with young dancers.

• Exhibit traits of dependability, professionalism, enthusiasm, punctuality, and friendliness.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Enthusiastic and vibrant personality for engaging young dancers.
• Professional dance experience, a degree in dance, several years of teaching experience, or current college seniors majoring in dance.
