Job Description

Classified substitute rate $12.00 per hour effective January 1, 2026

• Classified substitute staff receive enrollment in State Employee Retirement System(SERS)

Substitutes needed to cover day shift and afternoon shifts

Qualifications:

• Previous cleaning experience preferred.
• Physically capable of performing all job duties that may include but are not limited to lifting, bending, stooping, stretching, and moving of heavyobjects.

Duties and Responsibilities: (the Head Custodian or PM Turn Leader will provide details of the assignment)

• Performs general cleaning of assigned areas.
• Reports unsafe conditions and/or maintenance problems to the custodian on duty and/or the building administrator

Requirements to be on file before a successful applicant can begin work are:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current favorable BCII (State) and FBI (Federal) background checks
• Negative drug screen
• Enrolled in Rapback through the Ohio Board of Education and Workforce
• Complete Ohio Auditor of State Fraud Reporting and Training
