Essential Functions

• Empties trash in classrooms, bathrooms, offices, and lounges.
• Cleans and disinfects sinks, toilets, urinals, soap holders, paper towel holders, and toilet dividers.
• Cleans mirrors, water fountains, classrooms, mats, hallways, and gym floors.
• Vacuums and dust mops; uses floor machine as needed.
• Cleans up after school activities.
• Locks doors and windows.
• Communicates with head custodian regarding repair/maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Effective communication with staff at all levels.

Working conditions

• Mental demands include calculating, evaluating, interpreting, organizing, analyzing, planning, and documenting.
