Job summary

Palmer School District is seeking a Custodian to maintain facilities, grounds, and equipment in a safe and orderly condition. You will perform minor maintenance and alert supervisory staff to repair needs, supporting daily operations and special projects.

The position offers an evening shift from 5pm to 9pm on a 222-day year, with a 0.50 FTE commitment. A high school diploma or GED is required, and candidates must pass an interview, background check, and fingerprinting.

Description

Under supervision maintains school facility (buildings, grounds, and equipment) in a safe, clean and orderly condition. Performs minor maintenance on District buildings/equipment. Informs Building Custodian and/or Custodian Lead of problem areas requiring repair. Participates in completing Principal's/Building Custodian's requests for special projects or routine work.

Applicant must be a high school graduate or have completed his/her GED. Applicants must complete an Interview, Background Check and Fingerprints.

Physical Requirements

Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
