Qualifications

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience is a plus but not required.

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as well as stand or walk for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings

• Ensure that restrooms, hallways, classrooms, and common areas are clean and well-maintained.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of furniture and equipment for events and meetings.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Facilities Manager promptly.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to established protocols.
• Follow established schedules for cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure all areas are serviced regularly.
• Collaborate with other staff members to support overall facility operations.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
