Chester Academy in the United States is seeking a Substitute Custodian to support cleaning and safety across classrooms, offices and common areas. You will work with the facilities crew to maintain a clean, safe learning environment and perform daily cleaning tasks.

This role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift 75 lbs or more, and the capacity to stand and walk for several hours while supporting events and meetings.

Qualifications

• School custodian or related field experience preferred.
• Ability to read basic operating instructions.
• Capable of lifting and moving objects 75 lbs or more.
• Must be able to stand/walk for periods of time 2-7.5 hours.

Responsabilités

• Clean classrooms, corridors, store rooms, work rooms, offices, teachers room, cafeteria, daily to include sweeping, dry mopping, vacuuming and trash removal
• Vacuum carpeted floors and spot cleaned as required
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms
• Set up and take down chairs, tables, A.V. equipment and any required material for various functions as required
