Job summary

Crook County School District is seeking a Substitute Custodian to help maintain safe and clean school facilities. The role reports to the Head of Maintenance and requires cleaning, minor repairs, and general upkeep of buildings.

Starting immediately, duties include floor care, window cleaning, trash removal, and restocking supplies. The position is hourly and may require flexible shifts to cover needs across the district.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.

  • Performs tasks to maintain buildings and grounds in safe operating condition, including minor repairs and snow removal.
  • Sweeps, scrubs, mops and waxes floors.
  • Vacuums and shampoos carpets as required.
  • Cleans windows and glass doors.
  • Empty and clean trash receptacles; pick up litter.
  • Replenishes supplies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

This position reports to the Head of Maintenance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Cleans rooms, hallways, cafeterias, restrooms, offices, stairways and other areas of building according to school district standards.
  • Performs tasks to maintain buildings and grounds in safe and operable condition, such as making minor repairs to property as requested, clearing snow and ice, and related tasks.
  • Sweeps, Scrubs, Mops and waxes Floors.
  • Vacuums and shampoos carpets as required.
  • Washes Windows and Glass Doors.
  • Empty and clean Trash receptacles.
  • Pick up litter in and around buildings.
  • Replenishing supplies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
