West Chester Area School District seeks to increase our substitute custodial resource pool.

The qualification requirements listed below represent minimum levels of educational achievement, training, skill, and/or ability necessary.

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Effective interpersonal skills to interface diplomatically with teachers, administrators, parents, students, support staff, and outside contacts

Responsibilities

Perform various custodial tasks in assigned buildings, including:

• Empty trash into larger containers
• Dusting top and flat surfaces
• Emptying pencil sharpeners
• Cleaning chalk/dry marker boards
• Dust mopping and vacuuming floors
• Wet mopping floors
• Dumping trash from large containers into dumpsters
• Using custodial equipment effectively
