Requirements: Must be fingerprinted through the State Board of Education ($50.00). Ms. Velasco will assist you with this process. New substitute teachers must complete the 8-hour online training ($34.00). Ms. Velasco will assist with the app.garden website information. Previous substitutes or certified teachers must complete the 3-hour online training ($19.00).

Education: High School Diploma, GED or Associate's Degree earn $90.00 for a full day and $45.00 for a half day. Bachelor's/Master's Degree or Teacher Certification earn $100.00 for a full day and $50.00 for a half day.

Child Nutrition, Custodial Maintenance and Transportation Substitutes earn $13.50 hourly, and must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Documentation needed: Driver's License, Social Security Card, proof of education (GED/High School Diploma or college transcript). Direct deposit information such as a voided check or approved deposit letter from your bank. Beeville ISD pay days are on the 15th and 30th of every month.
