Job summary

Beeville Independent School District is seeking substitutes on an on-call basis. Applicants may choose the campus they wish to work at and will be assigned as needed.

Typical pay varies by education level and assignment: up to $100 for full-day substitutes with teaching credentials, $90 for a full day with less, and hourly rates around $13.50 for certain substitute roles. Training and fingerprinting are required as noted.

Qualifications

• Must be fingerprinted through the State Board of Education.
• 8 hour ONLINE training for new substitutes.
• 3 hour ONLINE training for previous substitutes or certified teachers.

Previoussubstitutes or certified teachers must complete the 3 hour ONLINE training ($19.00)

Education:

High School Diploma, GEDorAssociate's Degreeearn$90.00 for a full day and $45.00 for a half day

Bachelor's/Master's Degree or Teacher Certification earn$100.00 for a full day and $50.00 for a half day.

Child Nutrition, Custodial Maintenance and Transporation Substitutes earn $13.50 houly, and must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Documentation needed:

Driver's License, social security card, proof of education (GED/High School Diploma or college transcript)

Direct deposit information such as a voided check or approved deposit letter from your bank

Beeville ISD pay days are on the 15th and 30th of every month.
