Job description

General Summary

Children's Developmental Services is recruiting for a preschool substitute teacher to provide temporary classroom/bus coverage, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children aged 3–5 when the regular staff are absent. Key duties include following lesson plans, supervising indoor/outdoor activities, assisting with hygiene routines (toileting/diapering), managing classroom/bus behavior, and maintaining compliance with state licensing standards. This position may also assist in the kitchen when needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Pass a background check, including central registry and sex offender registry.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
