Monticello Central School District is seeking Sub Teacher Aides to support teachers in achieving classroom objectives and assisting with related duties in a school setting.

Responsibilities include proctoring exams, helping with labs, maintaining student files, and supervising students in various areas of the school. The position offers $16.50 per hour and requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with two years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from High School or possession of an equivalency diploma; or two years of experience in a recreational field, arts and crafts, working with children, or related activities.

Responsibilities

• Assists in setting up laboratory equipment and proctors examinations.
• Assists in correcting test papers, recording grades, and maintaining student files.
• Operates recording equipment, film projectors, and other classroom devices as needed.
• Reads to children and plays records for children.
• Provides oversight and personal assistance to students in hallways, bathrooms and other school areas.
• Distributes supplies to classroom students and supervises recreation, lunch periods and study halls.
• Assists in arts and crafts or other classroom activities.
• Attends designated school meetings and trainings.
