Substitute child care aides assist, guide, and interact with elementary school students within the BASD child care program. Aides work on an on‑call schedule (split shift 6:15 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.) and may be called to work at any of the 12 child care locations: Asa Packer, Clearview, Calypso, Farmersville, Fountain Hill, Governor Wolf, Hanover, James Buchanan, Lincoln, Miller Heights, Spring Garden, and Thomas Jefferson elementary schools.

Requirements:

• Department of Human Services FBI Clearance - The PDE FBI clearance is not acceptable by the state for child care
• State Criminal History Clearance
• National Sex Offender Registry Clearance
• Child Abuse Clearance
• Health Physical with TB

Rate: $12.00 per hour
