Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Must complete DESE drivers course while employed.
• Current CDL and School Bus Permit required.
• Experience with special education students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport students safely to and from school.
• Manage student behavior on the bus.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and log results.
• Maintain route data per district regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records.
• Report mechanical problems to district mechanic.
• Attend in-services as available.
• Communicate positively with parents, students, and administration.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Transportation Supervisor.
