Position Details

Must hold a valid Iowa Driver’s License
Must have or be willing to obtain the following endorsements:

Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Passenger (P) Endorsement
School Bus (S) Endorsement
Air Brakes Endorsement

West Monona CSD will cover the cost of license endorsements, the required online class, and DOT physical

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
Holds or is willing to obtain a valid Iowa School Bus Driver Authorization Certificate
Able to pass a State of Iowa DOT physical examination and pre-employment drug screening
Must have an acceptable driving record both within and outside the State of Iowa
Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, parents, and fellow employees
