Job summary

LaRue County Schools in Kentucky is seeking a Bus Driver to transport students safely to and from school each day, following district policies and state regulations. Responsibilities

  • Operates the school bus in accordance with all laws, rules and regulations of the State Board of Education and LaRue County Public Schools.
  • Adheres to schedule and routes provided by transportation services.
  • Reports promptly to the area coordinator when unable to drive, allowing time for assignment of another driver.
  • Maintains student management procedures and reports concerns to building principals.
  • Reports accidents/injuries to transportation offices and submits required reports.
  • Communicates effectively with parents, students, and district personnel.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Area Coordinator.
