Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; apprenticeship preferred but not required.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Knowledge of National Electric Code and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair substation wiring, equipment, and structures.
• Inspect components such as transformers and circuit breakers and troubleshoot issues.
• Lead and train crew to install and repair substation structures safely.
• Operate equipment like skid steer and forklift; travel for storm work as needed.
