Forbes Bros. Group of Companies is seeking a Substation Technician to maintain, repair, modify, and install substation electrical equipment across our North America projects.
You will work under the Substation Foreman, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance in every task. The role requires hands-on experience with transformers, bus structures, switchgear, cables, and control buildings, plus the ability to work around energized HV systems and to read system maps.

Working under the general supervision of the Substation Foreman, the Substation Technician will work to maintain and perform repairs, modifications, replacements, and installation of a wide variety of electrical equipment and electronic equipment systems while meeting the quality standards of Forbes Bros. Ltd, ensuring work meets both external and internal requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations.

The range shown is the expected base pay range for this role. Final compensation will be determined based on role requirements, experience, qualifications, work location, applicable project/site requirements, internal equity, and any applicable collective agreement or union requirements. This range does not include overtime, premiums, per diem / LOA, bonuses, benefits, or other forms of compensation unless specifically stated in the job posting.
Base Pay Range: $36 USD - $43 USD
