Job summary

HDR is seeking an Area Substation Business Class Leader to guide technical excellence in Substation design across a designated area. You will lead staff development, drive quality standards, and support regional operations with long-range strategic initiatives.

This leadership role reports to Area Operations leadership with a dotted line to the Global Substation Lead. A strong background in substation design and team mentoring is essential, with extensive experience in power delivery projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related engineering field.
• Minimum 10 years of management experience in engineering or power delivery.
• Experience with substations design concepts and packages.

Responsibilities

• Provide staff development and mentorship within Area BC staff.
• Lead or support technical and business class initiatives.
• Drive HDR quality processes and project reviews.
• Support recruitment and retention of area staff.
