Job summary

HDR is seeking a Substation Structural EIT/Coordinator in Saint Louis Park, MN. You will assist the Senior Engineer with site studies, layouts, contract documents, and project management tasks on civil/site projects. You’ll work on multiple projects, sometimes independently, supporting design, drainage and utility layouts.

HDR offers an employee-owned culture and a comprehensive benefits package. Bachelor’s degree is required; EIT preferred; familiarity with MicroStation and AutoCAD is helpful

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
EIT certification or progression toward licensure.
Familiarity with civil/site design tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist Senior Engineer with site studies, designs and contract documents.
Perform site layout, grading, utility layout and drainage.
Perform routine engineering tasks using standard techniques.
Complete projects with clear objectives and limited variables.
Support project management and administrative duties.
Work independently on small projects or assist senior engineers on larger ones.
Perform other duties as needed.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Master's degree in Structural Engineering

Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
