AECOM is seeking a Protection and Controls Engineer to join our Energy Business Line, supporting projects in Grid Modernization. This role allows for remote work or can be hybrid from any U.S. office.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and possess over 6 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include leading electrical engineering design projects, mentoring junior engineers, and conducting power system studies. Qualifications

• 6 years of relevant protection and controls experience in electrical engineering.
• Experience with project leads in engineering design.
• Understanding of FERC and NERC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the electrical engineering design work on assigned projects.
• Mentor other electrical engineers in our High Voltage/Power team.
• Develop design schedules and budgets for engineering processes.
